You can use the camera on your iPod Touch to take VGA-quality photos and store them on the device, but you can also transfer high-quality photos from your computer to the iPod, where you can view them at any time, anywhere, on the device’s 3.5-inch LED-backlit display.
Use the free iTunes software to upload photos to the iPod; no third-party applications are needed. The process is straightforward and takes just a few minutes of your time.
Connect the iPod to your computer by using the USB cable that came with the device. ITunes launches and displays the iPod’s name in the Devices section.
Select your iPod’s name from the Devices section.
Click the “Photos” tab above the main iTunes pane.
Place a check mark in front of the “Sync Photos From” option and select “Choose Folder” from the drop-down box.
Select the folder that contains the photos you want to upload to the iPod.
Click the “All Photos…” radio button to upload all the photos in the folder to the iPod.
Click “Apply” to upload the photos to the iPod.
If you add new photos to the folder and then connect the iPod to your computer, iTunes automatically uploads the new photos to the device.
